“If you ever questioned spending the extra $ for a quality MTB helmet, then i proved the value yesterday with an endo that resulted in a head first collision with a rock. While the helmet is dented, the Session did its job, resulting in just a concussion vs. something far worse. The helmet absorbed the impact and prevented what could have been an extremely bad situation. I have already ordered my 2nd Session helmet with this one saving my life. The extra $ for quality is well worth it. Beyond the safety, this helmet has great ventilation, looks great with the various colors and fits well (normal sized head).”
“Unfortunately, this helmet is not terribly comfortable… the front padding is a bit light, and leaves marks on my forehead if I tighten it just enough it won’t fall off. Additionally, the mips has a design that snags your hair every time you remove it. The design is overall good and seems to be nicely protecting my head, but sadly not very comfortably in the process.”
