“I really really really want to like this helmet. It is light, with good coverage. I was aware before buying it that I have a bit of a problem with Smith helmets, as I have more of an oval shaped head than a round one. But the adjustments make it so that it stays on, even if there is space on the sides. The issue is that it is uncomfortable. It needs extra padding. When did helmets stop coming with extra padding? Decades ago, I know, but padding that sticks on would be a great addition to the helmet box. Also, the back plastic pieces on either side of the dial adjuster get stuck in my hair, which is super annoying (definitely not a problem for anyone without a ponytail). This has never been a problem with other helmets; these plastic pieces are just thinner than on other helmets and more pointed. All in all, I do like the helmet, but it might work better for some people than others. Too bad I'm in the "others" category.”
