“I have read others stating the same thing on different sites like REI and Competitive Cyclist. It's not the visor but the brim of the helmet itself sits at my eyebrows and cuts off a lot of peripheral vision. I've tried adjusting the straps and tension but still can't get it to sit on my head without cutting off vision. I love the styling and safety features but I need to see where I'm going!”

“This helmet is high quality, looks great, is light, and well ventilated. My one knock against it is the adjustment mechanism. It is a cable type that tightens in a circle (and nobody's head is circular, and the part of the mechanism that sits against the back of the head is unpadded and has two rather sharp "grippers" that dig into the back of the head. I'll need to wear a head band with this helmet each time I ride. With a better mechanism this would have been a star review.”
“Overall decent. Fit however is "deep" (helmet sits low on my brow). Three stars because no spare padding is provided with the helmet to adjust the fit.”

“I replaced an older, pre-MIPS helmet with the Smith Session. It was a profound improvement to say the least. The Sessions adjustability gives me confidence that in a crash, the helmet would stay put, and do it’s job of protecting me. The week it arrived we were having a heat wave here in southern Wisconsin, but the airflow kept my head cool and comfortable, while the sunshade kept my eyes comfortable when riding on sunny days. Lastly, it’s a stylish helmet, the orange accents go nicely with the color scheme of my bike. This is my first year as a NICA coach and if any of the athletes asks, I will be sure to recommend that they try the Session.”
