“A few weeks ago I had a crash that landed me in the ER with a broken wrist, bruised ribs and abrasions on my chin, but no head/neck injuries or concussion! Shattered the visor and broke apart the front connection points of the MIPS system... Smith was prompt in helping me out with a crash replacement code so once I'm able to ride again I'll be protected!
Overall, the helmet was very light and comfortable and ultimately did its job extremely well. My only issue is that my head lands on the border between Med and Lrg.”

“The high cost of these helmets are worth it. We have only ridden a few times since getting them. So far the most comfortable helmets we have ever had. And we have had a lot of helmets over the past 30+ years”
“Nice helmet, MIPS is a great idea (maybe) but the plastic shell of the MIPS makes the helmet very warm, vents are all well and good but the MIPS absorbs the heat you should actually be bleeding off through evaporation. Make some helmets without it. Also have extra pads and maybe thicker ones to boot.”
“Love the look and features of helmet, I am in between Med and Lrg and went with large. Unfortunately did not fit as had side-to-side wiggle room. Will re-order Med at some point as I love the helmet.

“The fit isn't as nice as the Forefront, rides a little lower on the front and tends to pinch front and rear with pressure points at the MIPS attachment. My opinion is it is 'fine', but I wish I had a different helmet.”
