“My first issue is with sizing. My size is exactly 55cm, right in between a small and medium. I went with a medium. Fits well if my hair is longer, but a little loose if I get a haircut. Wish sizes overlapped a bit. The two plastic corners of the adjustable device dig into the back of my skull as soon as I put it on. Very uncomfortable at first, but feels better as I ride. Also feels heavy. Probably would not buy again.”
“I purchased a size large based on the head measurement stated on Smith website. It seems to fit fine when I first got it. But whenever I ride, the helmet kept tilting forward and pressing down on my sunglasses. I tightened up the BOA, but still the same problem. Tried to contact Smith for customer service, as of today, no response.
I would not recommend this product because it's not as described on the website and poor customer service.”

“Great fit and easy to adjust. I’ve ridden several times in quite warm temps and air flow is good for keeping the head cool. Sweet lid and more modern style than my previous helmet”
“This is a very good helmet. Is it a great helmet, no. But, it's quality construction and the protection is good. The fit you have to dial in with the straps a bit, which I wish were a little thicker and more comfortable. They cut in a bit if you don't get it dialed in correctly. Padding in the helmet is thin, but adequate I guess (would have liked a tad more or option to insert thicker ones, but the helmet did not come with any additional as helmets usually do). I'll add that I'm trying not to let my "tweener" sizing affect my review. With Smith, I'm right in the middle of a Medium and Large sizing. Medium is just big enough and Large is too big. All in all, a pretty good helmet, but I expected a little more for the price. I'd certainly recommend sizing it at the store and checking it out before you buy. Buying helmets direct (unless you can return) with no fit never works. Kind of like buying shoes from companies/brands you have no experience with, never works.”

“This helmet is light enough for me to not really notice it's there, but has the protection I want (MIPS). Easy to adjust strap made getting a good, comfortable fit quick. (Hint: Open strap buckles, put helmet on, adjust straps until the fit is good, then lock buckles.) The visor adjusts up and down nicely. The color I got (brown) looks good (I like earth tones).”
