“The helmet fits great. Plus, for an aero helmet, it breathes really well. And lastly, it’s really nice looking. I purchased the helmet when it first came out a few years ago; and recently purchased another one to replace it.”
“The 2022 version of the Trace helmet has a different strap design which does not allow easy adjustment around the ear, so the straps never sit in the right place around the ear but sit on my cheeks at he front and near my neck in the back. Meanwhile, the Owner's Manual says to: "2. Unlock the strap adjuster. 3 Slide the strap adjuster on the left or right temple strapuntil the strap adhuster sits beneath your left and right earlobe. 4. Lock the strap adjuster." Well OK... BUT THERE IS NOOO STRAP ADJUSTER on the Trace helmet! Thus there is no way to get the correct fit AS INDICATED BY Smith Optics.”

“Very happy with this purchase. Helmet was light and comfortable. Slots fit my glasses snuggly without feeling like they will fall out. High above my ear for room for ear warmers on cold rides. Great airflow through the helmet on warm rides!”

“I actually bought it as a birthday gift for my son’s 40th. He loves it. The aero, look, fit, MIPS…..
I have one that is somewhat similar, but pre MIPS. What I have is the yellow as in the image in this questionnaire. I love to ride at night, and added reflective tape to make it more visible.
I’d love your designers to come up with reflective/fluorescent finishes of the colors you have. I do use ultra bright flashing red LED light on the back of my helmet. But I like to ride lit like a Christmas tree.”
