“I love this helmet! Lightweight but with all of the protection and technology of MIPS. I believe this helmet quite literally saved my life. “Being a motorcycle lover, i've always loved all things Smith. And my Convoy is a perfect example: great fit, visor does not get in the way of your view and it's lightweight! I prefer it over my Fox Speedframe, which is heavier and the visor's too big and sometimes obstructs the view, especially when going downhill. Next helmet will be another Convoy!!”
“I don't generally write reviews but when you need to brag about a life-saving product; you take the time to write one. I wish the pictures could have been downloaded from my phone but they didn't, So here it is. I took a head-on crash today 4.23.22 when I landed in a pile of tree stumps after a failed landing of a 15ft jump. I have degenerative disks in my neck from yrs of football and military ops. So that is why this helmet saved me from crushing my vertebrae. The Convoy helmet has the MIPS System and it worked beautifully. The helmet has 2 definitive crush marks on it just above the visor from where I went head first in that woodpile. My neck is sore but not nearly as torn up as my forearms and hip. I was only halfway thru my ride and I got up and continued to the finish w/out any issues. I am currently looking for another Smith Convoy, just maybe a different color this time.”
