“Just bought my second one with the crash replacement discount. My first one served me one year as I was getting back into downhill and enduro after a long break. It is comfortable: I feel no urge to take it off on the lift chair, shuttle, or transfer stage. It is airy: on a couple occasions I trained cross-country in it and found that I sweated less than in my trail helmet. Over the course of the year, my first Mainline saw a couple knocks to the cheek pad area that felt fine and a hit to the temple that was fairly hard but did not interrupt my training. The helmet ended its useful life on a training run where I went down the slope and hit a log with the back of my head. I did the grown-up thing and backed out of the race but enjoyed the rest of my day well enough. The shell was dented and the Koroyd crushed. Looking forward to the next race in my new Mainline!”
