“Great helmet for the price amount, especially with a seasonal discount. It is extremely light, compared to my older TLD D2 fullface. The fit is exactly as labeled, and the helmet looks great.
Only complaint is I broke the visor, and Smith just replaced the whole helmet. Great, but a huge waste of money and overall bad for the environment.”

“Great air flow. The helmet size was a bit small. I measured my head at 57.5 and a medium felt to tight, I returned the medium and thought the large was a better fit despite the sizing chart. I don't notice the mips system when riding once when I'm taking a break. The design and performance are top notch.”
“Fit is good, nice and comfy and breaths well for this style of full face. The MIPS system is noisy so avoid if that sort of thing bothers you, but is not a deal breaker. Seems to offer great protection, would be nice to see a fidlock buckle instead of the d ring style.”
“Having a 55 cm head circumference I fall right between the small and the medium. For a half shell Smith helmet I prefer the small; however for the full-faced Mainline helmet the small is an uncomfortable fit. The medium Mainline with the largest pads fits snuggly but not quite as well as a med/lrg size enduro helmet from TLD. If you’re between sizes it seems like a coin toss for which fit you’d prefer.
Ventilation is excellent! Had no problem wearing this helmet non-stop during the latest trip to whistler that saw temperatures reach into the 90s F.
The koroyd is noticeably audible when climbing or just standing around, however I didn’t notice it at all during descents.”

“I knocked out my front teeth July 4th. So I bought a full face. First I bought a Bell Super Air R with removable face plate. The rivets broke immediately taking it out of the box. I returned it. Then I got this Smith helmet. I've ridden with it 5 times between desert and 10,00 ft Leadville. It performs well. I run a little hot and this is warmer than a normal non-full face but is pretty well ventilated. It does squeak a bit, but I don't notice once I'm riding. Only when standing in the parking lot. Good helmet and stylish. Seems burly enough to take a hard fall. I feel protected.”
