“These are great if you want to just listen to music. I was pretty disappointed with the delay with the walkie talkie function. It's like recording a voicemail, then it's delayed about 20-30 seconds when sent. I also don't like how the volume is changed. You don't just click to change in increments. You hold the button and it cycles thru like 3 different volume heights.”

“They have a great sound and easy to install. The touch mechanism takes a little getting used to, would be nice if they had a little more push feeling to them as it’s hard to figure out how hard to push with bulky gloves on. Otherwise, they’re great!”
“I'm an industry pro, skiing 120+ days per season. I've used Chips for years. Its nice to see a progression beyond the Classic 2.0 Chips. I do have mixed feelings. The Aleck is sleek looking and may have some voice features I still would like to get into my daily application. The two things I miss from Chips are 1) big easy push control buttons 2) easy function volume control, up and down. I like these and look forward discovering all they have to offer. But, do feel R&D needs to address a couple points.”

“The audio when listening to music is awesome. The feature of being able to communicate with other members in your group is not very intuitive. When you send a voice memo the sound is muted. I wish there was a way to priorities and increase the incoming message volume.”
