“I hate putting adhesive mounts on my helmets or having to rig up complicated strap mounts. This mount is fast and easy to attach and remove, holds anything with the GoPro style thumbscrew mount, and also has an adapter for the silicon handlebar mounts a lot of lights come with. So far the only knock I have against it is that the structural part of the Forefront 3 it attaches to is a little far forward and throws off the weight balance - it would be great if the next version was closer to the fore-aft center. I really hope Smith brings this feature to all of its helmets (road/gravel, commute, ski/snow) to free us from tyranny of adhesive mounts.”
