“Great when they work. All of my lenses have failed including the replacement lenses (4 now). Warranty claims take over 2 weeks to process and replacements have to come from Smith direct, rather than a voucher, so if you need new lenses on short notice, such as for a ski trip, you’re out of luck and will need to buy additional defective lenses. There seems to be zero quality control based on my experience. Cut your losses and choose a brand that focuses on quality rather than marketing.”
“Good fit, got them as I have a slightly smaller face. They are on par with most high end goggles at this price point. I have two gripes: 1) Where is the case?? At this price point, I expect some protection. Its pretty standard for many brands. 2) I have some bubbling in the adhesive rim on, seems like it could cause an issue later on. Its only on one of the lenses. Issues aside, I love the colour pairings and a high VLT backup here in the West. We'll see how they hold up.”
“$325 without a hard case is objectively expensive. They are about as good as any high end goggle. I like them but I feel they should include a case like most brands do, and Smith even does with the 4D Mag. They pair the spare lens colours well.”
“I love the goggles in that they fit great and work great. However, the lens scratch incredibly easily. I follow all directions and protect them at all times yet they always somehow end up scratched. I have had 2 lenses now scratched in as many years. My old pair of goggles went 5+ years without a single scratch”
