“Foam around the goggles started to deteriorate after only 2 years of light use. For the price I would have expected them to hold up better than that. I have some cheap googles and the foam on them is still like new after 5 years”
“Initial tabletop just opened review: Longtime I/OX user, but my lenses are getting to be long of tooth, and it's time to move ahead to another standard. The finish, lens quality and fit are all very high standard (as I've always enjoyed from Smith products).
The release tab, however, is not easy. I'm not impressed. I'm happy that click-lock is there because when I bite it, I don't want to looking for lenses. But yeah. . . was sort of hoping for a simple click out, and it is wrestling and squirming trying to get the tab to disengage. So my initial impression is: this mag system isn't a quicky change as I hoped it might be. I guess just pick the lens to start the day as I am used to. . .
OR, if someone wants to hook a brother with the secret tweak, I can amend my technique & update the review”

“This was my first new pair of goggles in years, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. I’ve tested them in a wide range of conditions—snow, rain, sunshine, and fog—and they’ve performed flawlessly. I went with the Black frame and ChromaPop™ Pro PhotoChromic Gold Mirror Lens, which includes both high- and low-visibility options.
So far, I’ve only used the high-visibility lens, even in low-visibility conditions, and it’s been impressive. The lens adapts beautifully as it gets lighter, and I haven’t felt the need to switch it out yet. That said, swapping lenses is incredibly quick and easy, even on the go.
These goggles have exceeded my expectations in every way, and I can’t imagine using anything else after this experience. Truly a game-changer!”
