“Just picked these up to check out the hype as they were on sale at a retailer. They are great. Way bigger bottom rim field of view than my decade old I/Ox. Mag lens swapping is easy. Just not worth 2-3 lift tickets to replace my current goggles.”
“Where do I start? I have been a loyal smith costumer for years and absolutely love my I/O’s. I bought these reluctantly as the price was far more than many other goggles but again loved my old ones so thought it would be worth it. First the gum around the band to hold it in place on your helmet comes off on everything! It gets all over your helmet which in turn gets all over everything else. Also whenever you put them in the case it’s inevitable the band will touch the back of your lenses which means you have to rub it off which you are not suppose to do. And worst of all THESE THINGS FOG! The lenses are sealed all the way around so once condensation builds up between the lenses they are shot. I have dried them for days between uses, even tried using the other lenses they provide, but some days there is no way around it. The I/O’s had a foam between the two lenses which allowed for a lot of air flow and they never fogged once. I lived in telluride for 6 years and skied 80 plus days a year and never had them for. The mags have fogged probably 4 out of 10 days and once they do you can’t see. Save the money and buy different goggles.”
