“Definitely get a better peripheral than the i/o max. It seems the strap is a little tighter than they used to be though. I have it on as wide as it will go but still feels tight.”
“I thought that the shape of these lenses would be awesome which is why I bought these goggles. But they create reflections within the goggle giving this distracting holographic affect. And the extra field of view it does give is very distorted at the edges of the Lense. I bought these to replace my smith Squads that lived a long and happy life. And I miss my squads, A way cheaper pair of goggles. These are noticeably heavy on my face, don't keep wind out as well due to how stiff the frame is, and are riddled with weird distortions and reflections. If I could, I would return them and get the squad mag's but unfortunately it is too late for me to return them.
I will give them two stars instead of one because they do still function as a pair of goggles. Your eyes are in fact protected from the elements. But in a much worse package for more money.
The lens swap mechanism is awesome. But that does not matter when you are out skiing and have large reflections in the top and bottom of the lens all the time.”
