“My previous pair of Smith Fuel V.2 goggles did their job well. To my standards. They kept dust, dirt, wind, and even sweat from getting into my eyes. However, I had found over the years that these goggles would sometimes feel small on my face. It felt like the eyewear I used for riding could be more beneficial. So after careful consideration of looking at other brands, I settled on the Smith Squad XL Rocky Mountain Raceface team edition goggles. Another big reason I chose Smith was their pricing isn't absurdly expensive like some goggles out there. I'm paying less and getting just as good of quality, if not better performing goggles. These will be the first and last pair of mtb goggles I will ever be purchase. And maybe not the last time I'll be purchasing Smith products. I have a TLD Stage and a TLD A2 helmet, and they both fit well, even though they're not smith lids. I will most likely be waiting till next summer to give the Rose/Chromapop lens a test. As our sunny days here in the Okanagan valley is over. Overall I'd highly recommend taking a look at these!”

“The goggles themselves are fine, I am curious if there is a prescription insert that works with them. Also, the product description states that a clear lens would be included with the purchase, but instead there was an extra chromapop lens (now I have 2 of the same lens).”

“Love the larger fit from the regular Squad. Although I still wear those as well. They work great with a TLD Stage helmet. Ventilation is almost as high as the standard Squad but the visibility is better. Wider rage of view. Black out lenses are nice and dark for those really sunny days. Go with something med if you ride in the darker tree covered areas.”
“These fit really well on my Giro Switchblade. I love the clarity you get from them. The only complaint I'd have is that the lens scratched a lot easier than I thought it would. Other than that, they've been amazing. I've never had an issue with them fogging up and they're super comfortable”
