Men's Remix Wetsuit 5/4 Hooded LT Reviews

5 Rating 55 Reviews
This is the most flexible wetsuit I have ever owned, I've used for two weeks now in the frigid north sea in Scotland and it is very warm. I can not speak for longevity but so far all seams are water tight and still feels new. It's well designed with internally taped/stitched seams and reinforced in all the right places. Dry lining is warm and comfortable. I will review again in 6 months but so far 10/10 for SRFACE in flexibility/warmth and value for money!

Liked the delivery process & rapping. The suit fit was as expected - comfy / good fit. On the 1st day of use, I felt the shoulders / back area was a little tight - restrictive but once it got wet and I stared to use the suit, it was very comfy. The reason I choose SRFACE wet suit was for price and what the wet suit could offer with regards its product - finish, great value suit.

Much more flexible and warmer than the Heat, got them in 4/3 and 5/4 hooded. Just a little water flush is coming through the shoulder flap into the wettie for easy pee wash off...

Remix 5/4 hood - Super easy order process with no problems with the post Brexit delivery to UK. Much quicker and efficient than many things I've ordered from the Netherlabds since we in the UK committed economic suicide with Brexit! Nice packing touch with the wetsuit drawstring bag which gives one a nice eco-friendly feeling; like being Vegan for a day but without having to stop eating nice food. I choose SRFACE as all I could see on my insta / FB / megalomanic electric car maker feed was SRFACE adverts rather than scantly clad ladies and people doing mad stuff on the water or Hannah Whitley who does both; so when a new Xcel drylock came up at near £500 and I realized my kids needed new shoes I thought I'd try something else and hoped the adverts might stop (they haven't) . I'm still running last years Xcel drylock (add extra adjectives to justify mental price) similar thickness, a Vissla 7 seas in same thickness. The Remix suit is definitely outperforming both on flexibility and comfort. The same would apply to the Remix performance against the RipCurl bomb (most expensive one; E-flash space rocket mega loop chicken sandwich meal, something - I forget) from 2 years ago. The SRFACE drys quick and 20 sessions in hasn't shown any signs of degradation (I've had recent offerings from O'neill and Mystic start to fall apart in this time frame). I'm not 100% sure the SRFACE is quite as warm on the arms as the Xcel drylock (+ adjectives) but the flexibility is so much better I'll buy again; could you make a 5.5/4.5 hooded please! In summary it outperforms the top of the market wetsuits.

Comfiest wetsuit I’ve ever worn, super stretchy and feels well made. Sizing is spot on too. On the negative side though, it’s not the warmest, really hope they make the same suit in a 6/4 mm.

I chose a SRFACE wetsuit after checking out a friends. The website is excellent and the fit finder must be good because my suit fits like a glove. Delivery was fast and hassle free. We have surfed in some extremely low temperatures recently and I have never been so warm wearing this suit. SRFACE are serious wetsuits at a seriously good price. I would recommend them to everyone.

I received my suit in good time, packaging was great. I've used the suit a couple of times now, fits well, I've found it warm, flexible and really light for a hooded winter suit!

I've had the suit for one and a half cold water seasons and have found it great between 52 and 45 degree water, but not quite up to the task for sub 45 degree water/sub 35 degree air. For a 5/4, this is fine for me - the suit has good flex and I really like the cut of the hood. Takes a while to dry and the neoprene isn't quite as dense or buttery as some other Yamamoto suits I've owned, but this was also a fraction of the price. I did get some chest leakage, and the glue used to adhere the seam tape has come off in multiple spots requiring some aquaseal to readhere. The cuff traction is also coming off but I don't think it does much anyway so not a huge loss.
