“Order was a bit tricky as the size finder couldn't find a matching size and seemed to steer me to an XLS at 1,79 and 88 kgs. LS felt too restrictive so I went with L. Return of the LS was fast and simple. The wetsuit is relatively easy to get in and out, has a very good fit and despite the thickness doesn't restrict movement too much (considering the thickness). Surfed in 5 degree water, and 50km winds for 2,5 hrs and didn't feel cold. Can only compare to my old Xcel Drylock, which is a but unfair has the Xcel is at a very different price point. Compared to the Drylock the Heat 6.5 did let more water at the ankles and wrists in (the drylock as a better system with donut seals at the wrists and extra thick silicone seals at the ankles). The lining at the xcel was also a bit thicker and seemed to have a bit more of a safety margin for colder temps. However, some of the leakage could be also due to me being between sizes. I'll try the additional cuffs to get a bit more seal. Overall, certainly recommend, especially at this price point!”
“I have been surfing in Scotland with SRFACE wetsuits for more than 5 years. The 5mm hooded Heat was really warm and comfortable but now with the new 6mm Heat hooded, the Scottish winter feels like springtime!
EPIC!”
“After a short chat on the website with one of the service crew I picked a perfect sized wetsuit for me. It just fits perfect and feels like a 2nd warm and cosy skin. Best wetsuit I ever had. Not comparable to my last winter suit which was absolutely stiff compared to the SRFACE one.”
“Already had a Heat 5/4. Like it a lot, only neck seal was not tight enough to prevent water entry while submerging. Heat 6/5 Hooded arrived last Friday and could try the next day. My first hooded wetsuit and really impressed by it, perfect fit, super comfortable and no water entry while duckdiving. So far my warmest wetsuit ever.”
