“I got the wetsuit a few weeks ago and the first impression was quite good. Flexible wetsuit and high quality. After approx. 15 kite and wave surfing sessions I am still very happy. Even at 1°C air temperature I stayed several hours in the water in the North Sea without freezing. I also got the Lobster gloves. They are a bit tricky to get into when they are wet, but I had the same problem with other, more expensive gloves. Even in Winter conditions they keep the hands cozy and warm!
All in all great value for money, quick delivery and return and good service.”
“The main difference which I noticed immediately is how much easier I could get in and out my suit, the material is flexible with my previous wetsuit this was a struggle but most of all I am very happy with how warm it is, there is hardly any water coming in. Very happy with my SRFACE suit.”
“I didn't get the size right on the first attempt - my measurements came up mostly as LS, but my chest was too small. I ordered LS first - and got a near-perfect fit - better fit than any previous wetsuit at any rate - but just a bit loose in the chest. I asked some questions on the chat, and ordered an M, which did turn out to be perfect! Returning the LS was super easy.
In use, the 5/4 hooded is great - nice and warm, comfortable to move in - good all round!
The 3mm gloves are nice, but I found they hold quite a lot of water - they are a bit more spongey than I'd really like.”
“Tested in January in the North Sea. Suit is nice and warm. Flexible neoprene, also in this thickness (5/4). Fixed hood is very good, less water in through the neck. Wore 3mm gloves and 3mm boots and I have not been cold. Outside temperature was about 10 degrees, but I think 5 degrees is still fine. I wonder how the suit will hold up with frequent use.”
