“Wetsuit is great overall, great fit, warm and design. Purchasing experience was great, cause I bought at first MT size that felt too tight so I also bought L that fits great. Returned back M and had money back in a couple of days.
If you use as I do M size on Hurley, RipCurl or Vissla I do recommend to go with L as it fits tight especially at armpits.”
“That's the second wetsuit in my life, the first one was a 70euro Decathlon wetsuit. Absolutely no sense to compare them. This suit feels amazing on the body. I felt like a surfing ninja once I wore it for the first time.
I'm in Portugal at the moment, and so far for November and December, it's warm enough. I even think that it's will be too much for the summer period. Of course, it does not bring you some magical feeling, but it moves your attention completely from the moment that you are in the cold water, it does not limit your motion and you could put 100% of your focus on surfing.
I could recommend it to everyone.”
“Sizing is great for me. Especially great that you do have LT sizes -- a few smaller wetsuit brands don't offer that size which means I have to choose an XL that is just way too wide around the waist. If I would run a wetsuit brand i would introduce not just T or S sizes but also something that takes into account the build type. Personally I am tall so i need the T sizes. My chest measurement puts me in a L/XL while my waist would be an M. If there would also be an option that dials in a wide or thin waist that would be amazing but I could imagine that not to be feasible.
The wetsuit itself is amazing:
Flex: 10/10 for me. Amazing neoprene
Heat: 10/10 as well. I was sweating end of november in portugal in a 4/3..
Build Quality: Seems good at first impression and the feel of the wetsuit was great. The inner seam in the crotch did however fall apart on mine. Not sure if this is an exception or not but that shouldn't be happening. Especially not within the first ten sessions.
After the fourth or fifth session, the suit gave me a really bad rash on the neck. It's the typical kind of rash that you get from the neck opening. It can be avoided, however if the glide skin collar rounds off the neck opening. The issue is that when you lean your head, part of the skin rubs against the inner (raw) neoprene as opposed to rubbing against the glide skin collar. That rubber from the inner layer can be really harsh on your skin, which is why some brands (ONei'll, Nyord) seal that neck opening off all the way with the soft material and the glide skin basically rounds off all the way to the outside. You practically do the same thing with your short sleeve suit on the arm where all of the inner rubber is sealed off on the arm. So i think this would be easy to add and make the suit a lot more comfortable and lower your return quota due to rashes.
If you sort the seams and and the neck out it would be the best suit I've ever worn because the material feels incredibly good. Unfortunately, I had to return mine within the 30 days return period.”
“Suit fits great, a lot of flexibility and warm. It’s marketed as Yamamoto which is why I bought it but it’s not comparable to Matuse’s Yamamoto, more similar to their Geoprene suits. I’ve almost exclusively worn Matuse over the years as their Yamamoto rubber lasts 3x as long and haven’t found a comparable suit. SRFACE seems like a good budget option and better than most suits in the market but I’m not sold on the rubber being as premium as marketed. They delivered quickly and as I am a US customer this might not be as applicable to the UK/euro market.”
“As soon as I opened the package I knew this suit is top class, the lightness, the materials and craftsmanship are jus amazing. Ordering was easy and shipping fast considering the time of the year. SRFACE Team backs its products with an extremely good customer support, thanks to all of them for their work. Done the suit is an easy task as the Yamamoto is very flexy. Fits like a glove no air pockets to be found. Once in the water welcome to a world of warmth and comfort to the max. Minimum water ingress.
The process is simple, choose your suit, placed the order and in a few days you will be stoked. SRFACE Team will assist you at all times and will provide you advice. I am recommending it to all my surf mates.”
