“I ordered the 4/3 at the start of this winter, expecting to have our usual 50-53 degree water temperatures at the lowest. Well that didn't happen. The water got down to 42 degrees. This suit was able to keep me warm enough to stay out for 2 hours in that 42 degree water with 20mph north wind hammering me in 30 degree air. Obviously I had a hood, boots, and gloves on, but regardless, a 4/3 being able to keep me warm enough in those conditions is absolutely stupendous. I'm not a heavy guy either, I'm 130 lbs at 5'9 (Size small fits perfect, if it helps anyone with sizing). I also have zero complaints about flexibility. It was a little stiff for the first couple sessions, but after that it became super flexible yet still kept me warm. As for durability, it's been about 6 months and not one part of the stitching has come loose at all, no damage, no holes, zippers are fine, it's in perfect condition other than being smelly, but that's gonna happen to every suit.
Before I ordered though, I was a little stuck on sizing. If you have a skin and bones build like me, order whatever size matches your height.”
