Height is great. I'm 1.96m and the highest setting is too high for me (which is not a "problem" I often have),
Rated 4/5 simply because it took some back and forth to get the charger replaced/working (but it was sorted out eventually).

“I was a little uneasy spending a casual grand on a desk, but I'm so stoked with my standing desk.
Extremely solid chassis and surface scream quality, this is some really nice kit!
Setup video is clear, takes a little while but comes together nicely. Also, the motors are quick and quiet, super handy having my sit/stand presets.
I went for the mid-brown bamboo with the industrial frame, love this combo.
I'll probably have this desk forever, so it's a sound investment for my home office.”
“My partner and I both ordered a standing desk to improve our new WFH setup. We wanted to go with a local company, focused on sustainability and quality.
When our orders arrived initially there were some minor issues regarding the wireless charger and a QC issue on one of the desktops. We emailed the team and Stand Desk and they were quick to respond and offer a solution above the efforts of any of the competitors in the New Zealand market.
The desks themselves are high quality I'd say, definitely a level above others I've seen. I'm extremely impressed with the responsiveness when I reached out regarding the issues and then the speed at which they were able to fix them for us.

“Really happy with the desk. It's a great addition to a home office. Simple enough to assemble (following the video instructions), sturdy once assembled, and looks good! I also received great service from the StandDesk team, who were really responsive and accommodating.”
“The desk looks stunning and has great build quality. I especially like the fact that it is made of real wood. The operation is fast and quiet and has a great range of height. Having an included cable management system is also a huge positive.
There are only a few issues I have with it:
- Was missing parts on first delivery, but was quickly sorted by support
- Difficult to put together and requires special tools, but good instructions
- Cable management tray is hard to use as it opens towards the back
- Mounting options limited with tray and tapered sides, but my monitor arms mount securely
Overall it's a great desk and I'd definitely recommend one.”
“We bought two standing desks from Stand Desk recently, and they are fantastic. They look great and work really well. You can programme different heights into the desk so it automatically knows where to stop when you're moving from sitting to standing, and the motion itself is very smooth and quiet. Plus it's so convenient having a wireless charger built into the desk! Couldn't recommend these desks more highly.”
“Excellent desk. Very high quality. Great finish and looks very good. Well-engineered and the movement of the desk is very smooth. The cordless phone charger is extremely sensitive to phone location which makes what should be a great feature, pretty near hopeless and frustrating. Assembly was straightforward, though the estimated build time was a bit light. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a stand-up desk. Excellent customer service. This is the stand-up desk to buy and company to use in NZ!”
