In the end I'm very happy with the desk, it was easy to assemble and it's very nice quality. I'm giving 5 stars because those small issues were solved appropriately and I'm evaluating the product here. Because this year's situation is out of their hands and it's something that this and other businesses are facing.
I use a standing desk at the office and I tend to seat when I've got meetings/have lunch, etc; so I use it a lot. If I compare this desk with the one at the office, I can see the difference saying that this one is a way better!

“Delivery - late by a few weeks, which was communicated via a bulk email. It arrived a few days after 2nd lockdown ended. NZ courier firm delivered it at around 6am and just left the 3 big boxes outside my driveway where anyone could have stolen it, and didn't even bother to knock/ring doorbell. Luckily for me it was still out there much later in the morning!
Desk - I bought the medium brown/natural colour top with white legs. Fantastic quality and finish, looks high-end. Very heavy. The motor to make it go up/down is very smooth with a quiet low hum. Would be great if it had wheels/castors and I hope their advertised Stand Desk's bluetooth device compatible app for automated sit stand schedules will be available soon.
Installation - looks lots of effort to put it together but the video instructions guide was easy to follow.
Support and communication - Excellent and very fast responses via email.
Overall - Highly recommend! Very happy with the purchase.”
“Love the Standing Desk however, the wireless phone charger is not powerful enough to charge my phone. It came with a 5W USB power adapter, which isn't strong enough to charge through the desk itself. When I swapped it out with my own 12W power adapter it worked better. The wireless phone charging pad also keeps falling out of it's area under the desk, even though it has an adhesive to hold it in its place. The adhesive is not strong enough.”
Hi Ben - I am sorry you had those issues with the wireless charger. You must have accidentally been sent one of our first generation chargers. I will arrange to send out the 15W chargers that replaced these. Apologies for this.
“This desk looks great, works really well, is minimalist but has the functions I need. It wasn't too difficult to set up (although hubby did that bit, it is quite heavy). Love the extra features like the cubby to hide all the cords & plugs etc. Recommend!”
“I have been using the desk for over a year now. Here are some thoughts about the desk and customer service.
-The delivery was hassle-free and quick (back in August 2019).
-The build quality is excellent. The motor is quiet as advertised. The holes for screws are pre-drilled precisely. Assembly was straight forward when following the video guide.
-The bamboo top and metal parts finished beautifully,
-As an after-sale service, the Stand Desk team even sent out a new set of clips for cable management to replace the old blue tack system, for free.
There are a few problems I would like to point out while using the desk:
-The cable management tray is too small to fit a bigger surge protector like a Belkin BSV804. Use a smaller surge protector if available.
-The desk surface is easily scratched, at least in my experience. Avoid any sharp objects to be in contact on the top of the desk.
-Without the option to install wheels, the desk can be difficult to move around once fully assembled.
Overall, it is an excellent purchase and I would recommend to everyone that is looking for a standing desk.”
