“Great desk. Does everything listed on the website. Love the colour of it - looks fantastic. Good comms from the support team, A+ there. All of the other features are great - cable tray, rising desk etc.
Reasons for not 5 stars:
- Shipping speed was okay. Took a little bit longer than I expected.
- Installation: Some confusing bits. Expect to spend some time here.
- Wireless Charger: For some reason I expected a plug to come for the wireless charger. I think that's a small frustration point - need to find something to plug it into. Also, I agree with another reviewer; an option to replace it with a fast charger?
Improvements:
- Installation: You should send a separate email for the instruction guide. Maybe even add a small branded flyer, within the packaging. I did notice you had some collateral explaining there was an instruction video, but it could be made much more explicit.
- Video Guide: I feel if you got a stranger - watched them install the desk - you might see a lot of the areas to improve the video guide. But overall it was still really helpful! These are small nitpicks. But good opportunity here to improve the onboarding experience. There were some little bits which got confusing and could have been avoided within the video.
Overall really happy with the desk. Highly recommend. Great value! Awesome design.”
Thanks for all the feedback Hamish. We will revisit the assembly video and usually the chargers do ship with the USB plug - our usual supplier was out and we couldn't find a replacement for the large volume. All the feedback very useful and taking it all on board. I'm glad you love the end product!
“Happy with the desk, happy with the delivery time. Issues I'd recommend being addressed are - cordless charging unit comes with no instructions whatsoever - I have 2 mobile phones and neither worked for cordless charging - I'm having to assume this is because my phones are not technically capable but would have liked a link to the product and specs for easy research purposes. Instructions are average and not complete (no instructions for the cable tray thingy, no indication that I would need additional tools to complete the build), didn't realise that the holes for the screws were actually pre-drilled so was confused about setting the distance on the legs. Instructions are obviously for a base that is sourced overseas.... didn't see until well after I had it operational that I was supposed to watch a youtube clip for how to assemble..why doesn't it say that on the instructions in the box???? so in summary, happy with product, instructions could be massively improved.”
Hi Shireen. Thank you for your review. I am sorry you had issues with the assembly. We do put a link to the assembly video (which is important to follow) in the shipping confirmation email. We will look at how we can make that more prominent and clear. In regards to the mobile phone charger - it can only work with wireless charging compatible phones. We do communicate this on the website - but again we will have a look at how we can make that clearer. I'm glad you're happy with the desk otherwise and apologies for not providing a fully positive experience.
“After a bit of a rocky start I'm loving working at the desk. The poor start was entirely my fault - I ordered a desk (1500 x 800) which was really too big for the room it was going into! I contacted the support people who immediately said to return it (cost-free) and they would send a smaller one (1200 x 700). The next issue was that the stand was too large for the manufacterer's pre-drilled holes on the new, smaller, top. We worked around this though, and received an explanatory email apologising for the inconvenience. We really appreciate the excellent communication all the way through, and I'm now loving the desk which is saving me a lot of shoulder pain.”

Hi Mike - thanks for your review. We will look at better informing customers that a power drill is needed for assembly. We are looking at moving away from screws to small bolts to remove this need. You would need to pull the desk away from the wall a bit to access the cable management tray. Perhaps we could make it drop to the front for easier access?
