“I've wanted a solid timber desk for a while now, and this is a good quality solid timber desk. Timber desk options appear to be pretty limited so I was pleased that Stand Desk was able to provide one with a solid American Walnut top.
There are a couple of things I think worth mentioning:
The wire hole at the back of the desk doesn't work for me (my monitor stand is sitting right over the top of it) - I think a notch out the back for cables would have worked better. My monitor would be too close to my face and I would lose too much desk 'real estate' if I moved it forward, away from the hole.
Assembly can be pretty tricky, and I'm not really a fan of video instructions (I had to keep unlocking my phone and adjusting the video each time I moved on to the next step). Also, there were one or two parts where the instructions were a bit vague, although I managed to figure it out.
The clips under the desk for the wiring are not great as a couple of the sticky pads detached when I tried to push in the wires. I had a similar problem with the charge pad coming away from the desk, as it was too heavy for the sticky pads (Conrad from Stand Desk sent me some super glue to fix the problem, which I will try tomorrow).
These things are minor. This is a good desk and worth the purchase.”
“I love my new stand desk the quality is top notch. One issue that was easy to fix is the cut out for the wireless charger has a rough milled finish. This impacts the double sided tape needed to hold the charger in place. I recommend standing this smooth, using stronger tape or screwing in the charger. Other than that minor issue it was easy to set up, guides and videos were handy - I recommend this desk”
“I have been using my stand desk for about a month and love it. It moves smoothly and quickly and is super sturdy. I use it in connection with my smartwatch to remind me when to move. It's also excellent when I need to concentrate on a long document. I love the cable management tray and I know other copies don't provide the tray as part of the package.
