“Having used a few other standing desks before, this one would have to be my favourite.
1) I particularly love the rounded edges on the desk top, which feel great to the touch.
2) The assembly process is substantially easier than with other's I've seen. It would be nice though to have a printed overview of the steps to avoid having to keep stepping back and forth over the video. Other minor comments are that it may be easier to delay attaching the legs until after attaching/bolting the frame, and that it took a few tries to figure out whether some cables were supposed to go above/below bits of the frame.
3) I love the speed of the motors - makes all others seem painfully slow and noisy. While the ease in/out of the motor speed is nice over longer distances, it does make it a bit harder when trying to make smaller ~1mm ish changes.
4) The cardboard packaging / padding is very pretty
Other general comments:
* Something I didn't realise until I got the packing slip was just how heavy it was going to be! I'm glad I decided to get wheels to move it around more easily.
* For tight spaces, it would be great if there was an option with a slightly less-deep desktop.”
“I'm very pleased with my desk and use it mainly standing up. It operates smoothly and is very stable even at height. It looks amazing, the quality is there.
I also had a good experience with the customer support team. When I wanted to change my initial order, I received a reply immediately and the order was changed. Further to this, there was going to be a wait time on my chosen desk top and Conrad proactively offered some great alternatives to move things along. Very happy to recommend this desk and the company.”
