“Cant fault the customer service of starbuy they have been very good, however the watch case itself is quite sharp on some of its bottom edges, I believe many cases and bands are now made in China to keep costs down and it shows.
I have had genuine Japanese cased watches before (citizen) and they are very good no issues like this.”
“The watch is a good one at a good and economical price,
it was bought with that in mind as an outdoors watch for when i am working, the old one also a Citizen has performed stirlingly and has a broken crystal and that is the main reason for buying this one. Quality of build between the two is vastly different.
And I feel that the current crop of watches are built down to a price. Some of the upper level of watches too , are seemingly built down to a price, if I can be so blunt.
Still they are all good, but with differences that I have picked up over the last 5 or more years I have been buying these watches.
Still the Citizen watches I have bought and also the only Seiko one ,all from Starbuy are excellent performers.
No issues to be a problem with the one in question, only its band about 5-10mm too short for me.
All the others except for the seiko i bought have had their bands changed.
