“Firstly, I need to say that I have purchased a number of watches from Starbuy and they never fail to impress.
Deepak and the Starbuy team are always reaching out keeping me in the loop as to every part of my watch purchase from order received, packaged, collected/shipped, and supplying tracking number(s) all in super quick time.
Every watch I have ever bought from Starbuy has arrived in pristine condition with all paperwork and warranty card completed with case number, serial number, model number and purchase date for warranty purposes etc etc.
And, they even set the watches time, date and other settings.
It doesn&xt get any better than that folks. Just open the box, admire the watch you have purchased and strap it on your wrist.
Starbuy is always my first choice when I get the urge to add to my large collection of watches. Much to my wife&xs dismay.
I stumbled across this watch whilst looking on the Starbuy website to see what else I could buy for my collection and I&xm so glad I did, it&xs a lovely looking watch that has already begun getting strangers asking about it when they see it.
There aren&xt too many of this particular watch around I don&xt think.
Apart from my top shelf watches such as Tag Heuer Carrera CV010, I have at least 8 Citizen Eco-Drives, most of which are ProMaster&xs all of which are beautiful watches that just keep going and going.
Recently I purchased a Seiko SSB359P which became my favourite daily driver until. . . . this lovely Citizen Promaster.
This watch is, for me, the perfect size (44mm x 14mm) with just the right amount of weight. I like to feel a watch on my arm and so the weight is spot-on.
Everything else about this watch is what I love about Citizen Eco-Drive Protester&xs, they look great, have all the functions you want but may never use (for some people) and the quality/craftmanship is sublime and bullet proof.
The only thing I did pretty much immediately was order a decent leather strap for it (see pics), as I&xm not a fan of rubber straps. It has made the watch look even more special I think.
The only negative I have about his watch would be, Citizen should have made the world time component of this watch be able to be swapped over from the digital side to the analogue side like my other Citizen World Time / Pilot style watches do.
Meaning if you travel, you could have the destinations time in the digital display then upon arriving in a new country, you should be able to flick a few buttons and have that new time convert/change the analogue hands to the local destination, and your previous (home time) move to the digital display. Then revert that again quickly when you arrive back at your home country.
My other Citizen Eco-Drive watches with World time capability do that, albeit some, like my Skyhawk JY0110-55E requires you to have an IQ of a thousand to get it to do such a thing, or carry around the user manual with you wink.
But other than that, this is a beautiful looking watch, superbly crafted and like me, you will love it.
