“Great looking watch, well finished 44 mm case with puffer fish engraved on the back, bezel has a nice fluid crunch, dial very legible in all light- nothing bad to say except……… the strap does not have the finish or quality that the watch has, I’m a seiko and bulova man and their straps are always of a high standard, I have found this with citizen, they cut corners on their straps , however on the higher end, like my citizen ‘eco-Zilla’ the strap is top notch. Nothing an after market strap can’t fix.”
“This watch is fantastic. I&xve always found Citizen watches to be well made and well executed. I feel like Citizen get overlooked quite a bit because of Seiko. Don&xt get me wrong, Seiko is a great brand with great history. I have a few Seiko models myself.
My father owns the Seiko SKX009J and I bought him this model for his birthday. We have found it to be a fantastic alternative to his Seiko and its been very reliable so far.
