“Beautiful watch, nice packaging and box - appreciated touch from Seiko. The watch itself has a beautiful dial that is somewhat more gray/black than the photos allude to. There is only a subtle blue tint which was what initially sold it to me.
The movement is a decently decorated basic Seiko movement, and it is very much in its position for the price that you are paying for this watch. Miyota movements are a bit more elegant in their skeleton forms, however this is a full non skeletonized movement and I think these are nicer than their citizen/miyota counterpart (although those are thinner).
The date change is smooth, the crown is big and solid.
The bracelet was easy to resize and should prove to be a solid companion for the watch.
Time will tell how the mineral crystal wears daily use - and if these are available should the inevitable fracture happen.
