“The Dial has a beautiful light hue of brown. The slight transparency of the dial shows some of the inner workings which as they move over the course the week/month give a different appearance every time you look at it, especially given the alternating Japanese and English days on the day of the week dial. The smaller diameter dial is great on even smaller wrists, but doesn&xt look out of place on larger wrists. The hands and dial has great luminosity and are very vibrant. The crown at the 4 o&xclock position is great as it keeps out of the way of your hand.
My only two complaints, which are both very minor. The ratchet mechanism for the rotating bezel feels a little odd. It works completely fine, just feels odd to rotate, especially at high speed when resetting the markings after using it as a timer. I believe this is due to it having 10 clicks around it&xs rotation with slightly different springs used for two independent ratchets.
The other minor complaint would be the band. When it&xs not being worn, it feels slightly cheap. That isn&xt to say it isn&xt up to the task, and the feeling of cheapness goes away when it&xs worn. When worn it feels robust, doesn&xt pull hairs and looks good. It just has an odd cheaper feeling when being handled, as if it&xs too thin or too rattly.
Neither of the above complaints however should dissuade anyone considering the watch from buying it”
