“What an absolute stunner of a watch. If you want Swiss made, true original 50s diver heritage and don’t want to pay an arm and a leg, this is the best you’ll find. Launched in 1953 at around the same time as the Rolex Submariner and the Blancpain 50 Fathoms. Those two go for 10s of thousands of dollars, this guy is under $3k, even less when there’s a Flash Sale. The only one SLIGHT nitpick is that the bracelet really should be sized with screws at this price point, and the pin and collar system used here is one of the most fiddly I’ve ever sized (I have a 150+ watch collection so I’ve done a few!). Otherwise, wow!!”
