The main idea of Statik cable is one should not remove the tips in order to keep them convenient, spare their devices port from wearing out over time, and protect them from dirt debris.
Also, you will easily lose the magnetic tips if you always take them out.

“Purchased both 3’ and 6’ cables and really like them both. The difference other than the length is the 6’ comes with a rubber holder. It’s especially useful with the three attachments. The fit nicely into the piece which attaches to the cable. When you need to switch attachment you don’t have to look for the others, they are right there to use.”

“I love this cable, it's amazing!! It is very practical to use, you can plug and unplug with only one hand with a click of a magnet, it looks well built to last with a led at the tip to help you find the cable at night. It deserves an award really. I went through so many cables in my life and they mostly fail at the tip, so having the ability to replace the tip is a game changer and great for the environment, especially that you have extra tips to use for USB-C, Lightning (Apple) and Micro-USB all in one cable!
