“Received my mount last week, and 1) the magnet is not strong enough to hold up the phone when using the sticky-back blue metal piece inside the phone case. It worked great if stuck on the outside of the case. Not aesthetically optimal, and not my preferred choice, but it worked. 2nd) I installed the mount in what I thought would be a great place. It was a great place as long as I was in PARK. Put it in drive and screen was blocked by the shifter. That’s on me. I then removed the mount in order to place it elsewhere. Big mistake. While it came off easily enough, it would not re-stick anywhere else. The adhesive was shot! So I now have a mount I cannot use, unless there is a way to replace the adhesive short of using super glue and potentially ruining the dash.
