“I ordered these to promote my account. They are good quality material wise and the adhesive is decent. There are a few problems thought one, it comes in one long sheet so you have to cut them manually to be able to hand them out to people.”
“Turned out great. They weren't hard to apply, nor did it take very long but give yourself plenty of time so you're not in a rush, - that's when mistakes are made.
The only nitpick is that edges of the letters would sometime stick to the backing paper so you had to be careful when you removed it.
This is my 3rd season with the boat and I would have named it much sooner had I realized that this was a fairly inexpensive and pretty easy process.
For reference I chose the 6 X 36 inch size which turned out well. Note that if your font and word choice has large descenders that's going to make the average size of your letters smaller, - thought my boat isn't handy right now so I can't confirm that.
What I mean is that since the "y" in "Mad Baby" drops below the rest of the letters and the height of the decal is 6", the other letters have to be shorter than 6". So my capital "M" is probably only 5" or so tall. Next time I'm at the boat I'll measure and update this review if I'm wrong. Anyway, it's something to think about when choosing a size and font.”
