“I wanted a simple hash tag for my water bottle. It is a powder coated water bottle, so for those wanting to adhere the stickers to powder coat surfaces the following may help. 1) Initially securing the letters: Some letters will stick to the powder coat and you can pull the backing slowly and easily. Some lettered (or dots) were not sticking enough and wouldn't release from the clear backing. to get those letters adhered, I manually started removing them from the backing and pressing them into the bottle. At this point the vinyl stuck on the surface, but I Can't say it would last long. 2) Sealing the letters: I used a clear satin protective spray sealant to secure the letters. Honestly I didn't even spray the whole surface of bottle and I cannot even tell where I stopped.”
