“This stand is portable and has a much smaller footprint than the traditional style that uses light stands. The rods that you use to set the height are now stripped. Meaning after you get them set to the height that you want, you twist to lock them in place. Mine no longer lock so They're pretty much useless at this point and I only got two uses out of them - the navy and Marine Corps Birthday Ball portraits.”
