“Did not come with instructions..... banner rolled up into unit. Because we opened the unit to get our banner out it voided the return. Suggest you find a video online to installing your banner before opening the box But the unit is great.”
“This was exactly what I needed for my vertical banner to display at events. I had some issues, likely user error. Just a couple things to be aware of. The caps on either side of the top part tend to fall off a lot. Luckily I haven't lost them yet but came close a few times.
When attaching the banner to the stand, I don't recall having many problems. I went to the website and watched the instructional video which was very helpful.
When I got to the event, and had very little time to set up, I ran into some issues which consumed a lot of time and I wasn't ready for the guests when they showed up at my table - totally my fault but would have been nice to not have to hassle with this for so long. User error, I realized we attached the top piece backwards when I couldn't connect it to the pole piece. I took the top piece off and lost grip of the banner which abruptly rolled up into the base. Had to loosen the screw to open it up slightly so I could reach in there and grab the edge of the banner. than I had the top piece upside down and it wasn't gripping the banner tightly, and it kept slipping off. A person that was trying to help me said we need to fold the top of the banner down to create a thicker edge for it to grip better. I thought that was odd since it gripped it fine before! The other person left and I finally realized I had the darn thing upside down, more user error! I got it set up and it worked well. However, as I was breaking down, the base stopped accepting the banner when there was still at least 12 inches exposed. It just would not take anymore of it, and it's supposed to feed into the base until the top piece and the base touch. I kept pulling it out and re-rolling it in, hoping maybe the banner just got pulled in on an angle but after ensuring the banner was going in as straight as possible, it still would not take in the last foot of banner space. I had to wrap the remaining banner around the base to store it.
So part user error with my setup issues, but that last part not rolling in is a bit irritating. It's still usable and serves its purpose so I really have no other complaints. Keep in mind this is meant for indoor use, but I need it at my outdoor events to, which tend to get windy so I have to keep the stand feet secure by placing my suitcase on them. It still blows back, but the suitcase keeps it from blowing away! This is not an issue with product, as it's not meant for outdoor use. It should be fine outdoors without wind.”
