“After a careful and detailed look at the upper clamp one can see that this clamp was defective. I tried with different paper and vinyl thicknesses and the clamp could not hold any of them. Looking closely the thickness on the aluminum bump out (from the side) as it closes to clamp, is to thin to make an effective clamping action, hence it doesn't work with vinyl material. Maybe a bad casting or maybe only for certain specific materials not specified and only known to the manufacturer.”
“We love these stands for our company. They are easy to carry into trade shows and very easy to set up. Our graphic designer can easily change out the graphics whenever we need their to. It only takes about 20 min to replace the image once it's printed. We print all our banners in house and it's very easy to design what we want. Just be careful and don't get into a rush when you are setting one of these up. The retractors are fairly strong and if you're not prepared they can retract quickly and hard. Overall, we give these stands 5 stars! Impressive quality, not cheap metal, and easy to use/set up.”
