Hey Nathan, Thanks for your review. Yes, we did notice pilling with our previous fabric. We have changed it since then. Pilling occurs when the fabric is continually rubbed against a rough fabric like a towel in the washer or dryer. Good news though, the little balls fall off after a couple more washes. Marc
