“I came across the JBL LIVE 660NC after a long search for ANC headphones.
What convinced me is:

- Fabric-covered headband
- Leather-look earpads
- Jack input
- 40mm driver
- Easy-to-use app
- The battery lasts forever
- Comfortable for long periods of wearing
The noise cancelling is average, but completely sufficient for most situations. It reliably muffles road traffic and ambient noise. Of course, it cannot completely cancel out loud conversations.
What surprised me is that the JBL is EQed rather flat compared to other models. It is not too bass-heavy and reproduces the mids very well.
What I like about JBL is the operating tones. A short guitar sound when turning on and off, different beeps when changing modes.
Other manufacturers use voice announcements here, which can get very annoying after a short time.
The JBL LIVE 660NC is solidly built all around and looks good.
Especially the headphones in the Tomorrowland Edition convince with a very nice design.
The TL Edition offers a big difference compared to the normal ones:
The decorations on the ear cups are raised and not lowered. This means that the touch sensor in the left ear cup does not react as easily. You have to consciously hold your finger on it for a long time for the voice assistant to start. And that is a big plus point for me. The voice assistant often starts accidentally on the normal 660s when you only briefly put the headphones down or adjust them.
I totally would recommend them.”
