“This clip will work not only with the standard black velvet type hangers but also with any steel pants or skirt hanger if you need to replace a clip or add clips for heavier items. It's nice that it comes in a package with plenty of clips--a good value. I got these clips to augment the existing steel spring clips on a skirt hanger in order to hang heavier kilts. You can actually use four clips across the hanger with a couple of these clips between the existing steel clips. It works great and the clips are holding up the kilts very well. No more falling kilts from the kilt hanger!”
