I'm 67 yrs young and getting too old to be climbing a ladder every time I open the thrift store to hang the open sign outside. Saw this and thought it might just save me having a broken hip from falling off the ladder!

It is as advertised! Works great, there wingnut thing that locks the extension in place could be better but it works fine for the shorts guys in the office.

This garment hook is the right weight for lifting and carrying a garment on a hanger. It's sturdy enough to do the job but not too heavy or too flimsy. The hook is curved enough so you don't have to worry about the hanger sliding off the end. The rod extends enough for someone who's not tall. This item is perfectly priced and even with shipping and tax it's still cheaper than other similar products!

After receiving my first reach hook, I decided to order a second one. Easily adjusts to desired length. Great value!

It's a must have for any clothing store. Ordering another for my mother to use at home to reach an upper closet rack.

This hook is extremely well made and I would be very happy with it, except it doesn't work in my situation. I have a high close rod for storing out of season clothes, but there is a shelf above the rod which prevents the hook from reaching under it to hook the hanger. This would work well if there was no shelf, but I need the shelf in order to have a center support for the rod. If the hook did not have the upward curve, it would work in my case too.
