“This hook is extremely well made and I would be very happy with it, except it doesn't work in my situation. I have a high close rod for storing out of season clothes, but there is a shelf above the rod which prevents the hook from reaching under it to hook the hanger. This would work well if there was no shelf, but I need the shelf in order to have a center support for the rod. If the hook did not have the upward curve, it would work in my case too.”
