“I was confused at first by what the 1", 2"OC meant. It means that the holes on the wall piece must be 1" big, and be spaced 2" apart. I was worried how I would put shelving on these because they do not have a lip on them, but I was able to easily lay a peice of wood across on it and drill a screw from one of the bottom holes on the bracket, up into the piece of wood at an angle. It worked great and the end result looks better as the shelf is sort of hidden now under the wood because there's no lip at the end. They are heavy duty and excellent quality. I would definitely buy more in the future if need be.”
