I would give this item a full 5 stars on the quality of itself. Very sturdy and durable. I love the item. I take a star away for the lack of instructions to assemble the item. The paper they include in the box is only good for you to reference what it should look it and make sure you have all the materials that are supposed to be included. They emailed me a YouTube video link on how to assemble but the video was only a minute long! No close ups on what they are doing. Video actually shows the incorrect way to put it together. I had to search for videos for an hour before coming across one of a lady who got the same item and displayed a lot more thoroughly how to put it together which is how I was able to get it done. Overall great item just please put better assembly instructions.

Beware! Please provide better instructions and a video for this product omg i bought this thinking it would be 30min to 45min job not 2-3 hours! Pieces where missing when i first received it so that already was a bad start . Last but not least as i am finally finished putting this thing together one of the brackets have no groove for the screw ,so now im stuck with the second bar sliding on one side! I really wanted to love this but its a disater . Please be ready to buy extra tools to keep this rack together! Only thing good was the customer service thank god for that .

Where do I begin? I did lots of research to find just the right rack that would work for what I needed. I ordered this heavy duty z-truck rack and added the second rail. I was excited to get my overstock organized and double up since I have limited space, every square in is prime real estate! So the rack is delivered and I hop to putting it together.... 1) No directions were in the box. A part list and some weird hand written note on an Amazon return ID about how the box arrived damaged and it was ordered by mistake, no clue what that was supposed to mean. I searched the internet to find written assembly instructions or a YouTube video. There are not that many parts to this rack so I figured it would be a breeze. I couldn't find a single video that pertained to this z-rack that I ordered, I spent hours going down the rabbit hole of websites trying to find instructions. All of them had different parts and were assembled different. I decided to set out on a mission and just figure it out... 2 HOURS after setting out on my mission I was about to give up. As a last ditch effort I swapped out the nuts for a different kind I had in my garage, that seemed to somewhat work. I think I got the wrong nuts in my package, they had a stopper thing on them so I could only tighten them so far. I FINALLY got it assembled. 2) How they call this a double rail rack (when you order the optional second rail) is beyond me!! It is definitely not tall enough for a second rail, unless you are hanging toddler shirts I guess. I put some of my overstock on both rails of the rack and it's not even functional. The top rail clothes are pushed to the side of the second rail and the second rail clothes are dragging the floor. It's just t-shirts, hoodies, and tanks! Nothing long. That was the whole reason I bought this rack and it's not even going to work. I'm sad. 3) After I stepped back in defeat to call it a night (after many many many hours of dealing with this thing that should have taken 30 minutes) I noticed the right side of the top rail was sliding down. I tightened the nut so hard I couldn't turn it any further, but there it is, slipping. I have nowhere near 500 pounds on that top rack. I will say the bones of it are sturdy and strong, but that doesn't do me much good when it's non-functional. Moral of the story... I was hoping to complete my project in full tonight and all I did was put this rack together, which turned out to be a huge disappointment. This might work for you if you only need a single rail and don't have that much stuff to hang on it. It's definitely not holding 500 pounds!! Shouldn't be called SUPER heavy duty. Baffled.

I was so excited to receive this, and thought it would make moving my merchandise so much easier! Unfortunately, it broke off at the base and dumped my clothes! So disappointed!

Like the Rack. However, the shipping box was shabbily taped up. Smaller screws (Item 9) were missing.

We have gone through 3 of these and would never recommend them. The weld joints on the base fall apart after about a year and it is used for light duty (dresses)

We bought several racks to use at a thrift store and they work beautifully. Being portable, we can move them anywhere we need them. They hold a lot of clothes too! Set screws are problematic or it would have received 5 stars.

the small screws were either to small or big and wouldn't screw in the hole. Now the hang rail is leaning to one side.
