“A really good-looking item, but two issues. First, these do NOT fit my display form, and I see that this is a common issue, based on reviews of their other finials. Maybe you have to buy one of their forms? I stuffed newspaper into the cavity to hold it in there.
Second issue: Ordering this item turned out to be a comedy of errors! The first one I ordered arrived broken. The main fleur part is made of a hollow cast resin, while the base is metal. So the spiral/curled ends are easily broken if shipped with ZERO packing material. So I called up and I must say, they were great about sending me a new one. Didn't even want me to ship the broken one back. Problem solved? Lmao, nope. In a couple of days (fast shipping!) I received another box and another broken finial. Again, no packing material. I was stunned. Called them again and this time, I could tell they were a bit skeptical, but again they sent a new one. Well what do you know? I again received it broken! Let me tell you, calling back after 3 broken finials feels pretty shameful. I could hear the tone in their voices, but they did ship again. It took 4 times to get one unbroken (still no packing material!!!). Hello? Invest in packing material, folks! It's worth it!
One positive was that I decided to glue the broken finials back together and paint them different colors. :)”
