“I've bought these boxes a few times and there are different manufacturers of this style number. There is a Chinese manufacturer that makes a matte finish, thicker-walled box and the swirls are harder to see. Then there is an American manufacturer that makes a glossy finish, thinner-walled box and the swirl is much more discernible. I personally prefer the American-made boxes because my insert fits better in the thin-walled box and I think the glossy finish and discernible swirls look nicer. Other people may like the Chinese-made, thicker-walled boxes. It's a personal preference. I just wish that they would make two different numbers for the glossy finish box and the matte finish box because they are so different. I prefer to order only the glossy finish box but there is not a separate number for that. When I get the matte finish box I have to send it back to them. I would give this box 5 stars if it was only the glossy finish box but since there are two manufacturers and two completely different styles and I can't just choose the one I want, I can only give it 3 stars at most. I can't even recommend it because I never know which box I'm going to get. It's very frustrating. It's a great box, great price, fast shipping, and very good customer service but the fact that I never know what I'm going to get makes it frustrating.”
