“I was encouraged when I saw mention in the description about carrying books and so was surprised when I got the bags and saw the die-cut handles were not reinforced. If you put something weighing just several pounds in these bags, such as a wooden lazy susan, the handles will s-t-r-e-t-c-h within seconds and I'm not sure they won't tear. The shipping costs were very high, as well. Between high shipping costs and possibly having to double-bag items, the bags are not turning out to be as inexpensive as I had hoped.”
