“Bought the variety pack for endurance cycling. Haven’t tried a flavor yet that I haven’t enjoyed. My one wish is that the gel itself was easier to get out of the tube. I understand that being a honey based gel this would be quite difficult. However, due to the difficulty in getting all of the gel out it is sometimes necessary to stop riding to consume it. Overall though, a very tasty gel and a more economical choice to gels available at bike shops.”
“I received a honey gel in a race kit earlier this year, and I used it during a training run to see how I reacted. I was delighted that I didn't suffer with my usual day after upset stomach. I'm fortunate to tolerate traditional gels during an event, but I'll pay for it for up to 2 days post event. I bought a pack of the honey based gels and used them here and there during training. I recently ran the Queen City Half Marathon, and I used up the last of my traditional gels and gummies. I had a good race, but I was very ill by the evening into the next day. 6 days later, I completed Beaver Flat Damn Hard 20 using just the honey gels. My performance was equivalent in energy on a much tougher course, and I haven't suffered from any of the negative belly aches.”
“Very happy with my purchase of quality honey, energy gel variety pack! I will be using these for hikes, cycling, and backpacking. Chose the cinnamon honey as the free jar and it is delicious! Highly recommend.”
“Honey energy gels are great! As someone in endurance sports these have been essential to training, easy on the stomach and simple ingredients. The different flavours are nice too! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a gel that gives you big bang for your buck. Love to support local and made in Canada.”
