“I had tried small packets of Superfat nut butters from Whole Foods and liked the flavors.
I ordered two jars of the Cacao Coconut Nut Butter and two jars of the Keto Nut Butter while they were on sale. I was disappointed to find that they were completely separated--oil hardened on top, nut mixture rock solid beneath--and despite stirring, they did not return to a "nut butter" consistency. They were very lumpy and not uniform. The Macadamia Coconut Nut Butter was better than the Cacao Coconut Butter (the sweetener in Cacao was separated) but the Macadamia Coconut tasted stale, much less flavor than the small packet I had tried previously.
Also, I received my order the second week of January. All jars expire in February. Possibly why they tasted stale. Clearly, they were on sale due to an expiring overstock. I can't eat 50 oz. of nut butter in a matter of weeks. Discounting inventory because it's going bad isn't a good look. Not to mention, the nut butters I received were poor quality.
Overall, I did not have a positive experience with my first order from Superfat, probably will be my last.”
“Never heard of this butter until recently. Rec'd package fairly quickly.
I'm very please with the taste and texture. I would suggest selling Nut Butter stirrers and larger portion jars.”
“After a good stirring, stays creamy and delicious. As good as the pouches, but even better because of what I can add with this. It goes with ice cream, toast, cereal, just a spoon by itself (of course). Lovely and delicious for both my wife and I, who are both trying to eat well.”
“Absolutely incredible, what a delightful flavor combination. It tastes so light and fresh, even though it's Super*Fat* :-D Worth the price, if you can control yourself! Keeping it in the fridge helps me, see below ;-)
Same FYI from my Cacao Coconut review-- It's SUPER runny though, even after storing upside down and stirring for nearly ten minutes. On the plus side, it can be used in that more liquidy state for a lot of fun things (like dipping fruit into the jar! fondue!). I found it worked best if after stirring it (forever), put it in the fridge to solidify. Then take it out about 15-30 minutes before you intend to use it so it's softer but not all runny again. It adds so much delciousness to every concoction!”
